Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 2/14/2026
Revised 3/18/2026

Welcome to John’s Jump & Pump LLC. By requesting service, using our website, or communicating with our team, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Services Provided
John’s Jump & Pump LLC provides roadside assistance services, including but not limited to battery jump starts, battery testing and replacement, tire inflation*, fuel delivery, vehicle lockout assistance, mobile RV charging*, and other basic roadside support.
We do not provide towing services.
All services are performed based on the information provided by the Customer, insurance company, motor club, or other dispatching service at the time of the request. Service outcomes may vary depending on vehicle condition, safety, and other circumstances beyond our control.

Customer Responsibilities
By requesting service from John’s Jump & Pump LLC, you agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your location and vehicle, ensure that the vehicle is safely accessible, disclose any known mechanical or electrical issues that may affect service, and follow all technician instructions during the service. You also agree to make payment in full at the time the service is rendered, unless prior arrangements have been approved.
Failure to provide accurate information, maintain safe conditions, or comply with technician instructions may result in delays, additional charges, or the inability to complete the requested service.
Service Limitations
While we strive to resolve your roadside issue quickly and safely, we cannot guarantee that every vehicle can be started, unlocked, or made drivable. Some mechanical or electrical failures require repair by a licensed automotive repair facility. Payment is for the dispatch and service attempt, not a guaranteed outcome.

John’s Jump & Pump reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or modify service if conditions are deemed unsafe, if the vehicle presents a risk of damage, or if circumstances are beyond our control. In such cases, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that service fees remain due and payable in full or in part, depending on the services rendered and expenses incurred, including but not limited to dispatch, travel time, labor, and equipment use.

No refunds will be issued solely on the basis that the vehicle could not be started, unlocked, or otherwise returned to operating condition, provided a reasonable service attempt was made.
Vehicle Condition Acknowledgment
Vehicles may have pre-existing damage, wear, corrosion, or mechanical and electrical issues that are not immediately visible or discoverable prior to service. By requesting and accepting service, you acknowledge and agree that John’s Jump & Pump LLC shall not be held liable for any pre-existing damage, mechanical failures, electrical malfunctions, weak or failing batteries, tire condition or structural failures, manufacturer defects, or any issues that arise due to the vehicle’s age, condition, prior repairs, or lack of maintenance.

You further acknowledge that certain services, including but not limited to jump-starts, tire inflation, lockout assistance, and fuel delivery, may reveal or coincide with underlying vehicle problems for which John’s Jump & Pump LLC is not responsible.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, John’s Jump & Pump LLC shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of, or related to, the services provided, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of income, towing expenses, repair costs, delays, or personal property damage.

In all circumstances, the total liability of John’s Jump & Pump LLC, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall be strictly limited to the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Lockout Services
Customers must demonstrate reasonable proof of ownership, possession, or authorized use of the vehicle prior to the performance of any lockout service. Acceptable proof may include government-issued identification, vehicle registration, insurance documentation, or other reasonable verification at our discretion.

John’s Jump & Pump LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue lockout service if ownership or authorization cannot be reasonably verified, if the situation appears unlawful or unsafe, or if performing the service may result in damage to the vehicle. In such cases, applicable service or dispatch fees may still apply.

Safety and Right to Refuse Service
The safety of our technicians is non-negotiable and takes absolute priority. John’s Jump & Pump LLC reserves the right to refuse, decline, or discontinue service at any time if a situation is deemed unsafe, hazardous, unlawful, or poses a risk of injury or property damage. This includes, but is not limited to, hazardous or high-traffic locations, aggressive or threatening behavior, customer impairment due to drugs or alcohol, court ordered ignition interlock devices, severe weather conditions, unsafe surroundings, or dangerous vehicle conditions.

If service is refused or discontinued for legal or safety-related reasons, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that a dispatch fee and any applicable service charges may still apply.

Payment Terms
Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered unless prior written arrangements have been approved by John’s Jump & Pump LLC. We accept cash and approved electronic payment methods, including major credit and debit cards processed through Square, as well as Venmo and Zelle.
By providing payment information, the Customer represents that they are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize John’s Jump & Pump LLC to charge the total agreed-upon service amount.

Returned payments, declined transactions, or chargebacks may result in additional fees, administrative costs, and collection efforts. The Customer agrees to be responsible for any costs incurred by John’s Jump & Pump LLC in recovering unpaid balances, including reasonable collection fees and, where permitted by law, attorney’s fees.

Refund Policy
Because roadside assistance requires immediate dispatch of personnel and resources, completed services and service attempts are generally non-refundable. Refunds, if issued, are granted at the sole discretion of John’s Jump & Pump LLC.

Service Photos & Documentation
Technicians may document vehicle condition and service completion with photographs for liability protection, quality assurance, and training. These images may also be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, traffic conditions, road closures, construction zones, weather events, natural disasters, acts of law enforcement or government authorities, accidents, vehicle location hazards, restricted access areas, or other unforeseen events.

In such instances, service timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Applicable dispatch or service fees may still apply where a technician has been deployed.

All services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. John’s Jump & Pump LLC specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Any parts, products, or components provided or installed during service including but not limited to batteries, fuses, windshield wipers, or other replacement items may be covered by their respective manufacturer warranties, if applicable.
John’s Jump & Pump LLC does not provide independent warranties on such parts and is not responsible or liable for any manufacturer defects, performance issues, or warranty claims related to those products. Customers are responsible for pursuing any applicable manufacturer warranty claims directly with the product manufacturer.
